Supermodel and Sports Illustrated swimsuit cover girl Chrissy Teigen was "pretty drunk" before she took to the mound at Dodgers Stadium Tuesday night to throw out the first pitch before L.A.'s game against the Angels.

John Venn

John Venn was a logician and philosopher best known for introducing the Venn diagram. In the diagram, circles are used to visually and logically sort groups to illustrate their relationships to each other. For example, one circle may contain things that are mammals. The other circle may contain things that have wings. The overlapping space that both circles occupy would consist of mammals that have wings.

With a concept this simple, you would think it was all fun and games to design an interactive doodle for John Venn’s 180th birthday. And you would be right, but there was also a lot more to it! South Africa earthquake kills one, 17 miners injured

ONE person was killed and 17 injured when a 5.5 magnitude earthquake hit South Africa on Tuesday, causing scares in North West mining operations and evacuations in large parts of the country.

"For South Africa, a 5.5 magnitude quake is quite big but its not uncommon," said Herman van Niekerk, a structural geologist from the University of Johannesburg.

"It went on for about 20 seconds or so, but some people say they felt it for a lot longer," he told the South African Press Association.
